aussie for dummies (not that any of you are dummies heh)

1) lemonade = sprite (to get actualy lemonade you have to ask for lemon squash)

2) ta = thank you

3) see you later = bye

4) no worries - alright, no problem, sure.. (actually it's pretty much all encompassing. haha this is very very much used)

5) thongs = slippers

6) happiness costs $10 (well not literally)

7) food and groceries costs Alot of money

8) aye = pardon (haha it sounds weird kinda)

9) weather here can change from cold to hot&sunny to cold again to rainy to hot again in the span of 3h

10) winds can get so strong that the sand or leaves that fly up cos of it can cut

11) it's possible to eat gelato everyday

12) transportation is 6times more expensive here than in singapore

13) education system here isnt as easy as everyone thinks it is

14) take away = to go (if you say anything else they wont get you)

15) it's true that if you dont stand for something, you'll fall for everything
