hellooooo

so it's my second day in school!
it's still kinda surreal. i dont know. like- hasnt really sunk in that im here in melbourne. it's gonna be my like.. 'home' for the next 4 years? in that sense i suppose. i guess it'll only really hit me when mummy finally goes back to singapore.. at least this year i get to go back 4 times. but it's so little!! i can't wait for april alr. bleh.
anywayyy..
so first day of school(ytd) was pretty alright- everyone's really friendly! there are about 15++ different nationalities here.. from china, kenya, egypt, bangledesh, indonesia... yeah so it's pretty cool. they gave us a tour around campus- it's HUGE. extends for like 4 streets. i think. haha and in the middle is lygon street! which is the awesome food district. famous for it's italian(: and the city's not too far off, so it's all pretty near. except grace and selene are a 40min drive awayyy.. so i wont be going to visit them on my own. the weather here's FREEEAAKING HOT. seriously. even the shade's not cool anymore.. but it's drier so i dont get as sticky thank goodness. heh. but i have a sunburn alr! really. my cheeks are red. haha ah well

school's pretty slack. socially it's alright. everyone's just saying hi to everyone else it's quite fun(: no pressure, you know? just taking it easy(: academically i think im gonna be having quite a bit of fun! today we had our intro lects- psychology sounds super cool! the lecturer's funny haha(: and there are 14 ppl in my lecture who wanted to become psychologist- including me cos i raised my hand. i dont know, either commerce or psychology. or i could always take a double degree. but nvm i shall think about that at the end of the year.

today we hung out at minghuei melchu & amandaleong's house with shiyou & justin- had milo [:D] and watched FRIENDS! haha the weather was so bad we decided not to go for lects after lunch anymore. now im borrowing shiyou's laptop (thankyou:D) for connnection cos im still staying with my mum in the hotel haha it's really too hot to sleep without aircon. i wish autumn would come earlier. it's so stuffy everywhere and there's not really any aircon anywhere. now i know why they're let off in the summer. suffocating!
