ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT TILL THE END OF PRELIMS!!! ((:

oh my stupid jaw is so annoying you know. apparently because i didnt wear my splint 24/7 for the past 6 months- all that time's been wasted! according to my dentist. AGH. so daft.. i feel so bad like wasted all that money or sth- but the dentist said try to wear all the time! i tried! but cannot what.. worried the teachers couldnt understand me, or err friends, and i cannot eat properly! aiya. so now i've gotta wear it ALLLL the time.. if you dont understand me and it sounds like i've got 5 ice cubes in my mouth all the time you know why

my brother's damn smart you know. he knows all the stuff im learning for history now- he's SIX YEARS YOUNGER than me! that night i was complaining about having to study the whole book and he was like 'but jie, history's fun! you know hitler bla bla bla...' he reads the newspaper, has war books, loves reading non-fiction, watches discovery channel, national geographic and the news for crying out loud. he was telling me about WWII for goodness sake. haha but even though he is so freakishly smart and makes me feel stupid, i am so proud of him(: he just had this debate 'money is the root of all evil' [gosh we did that this year la alamak] and i he asked for help, my mum & i gave him a bit of pointers and guess what! he landed best speaker! hahaha he's good man. he's super good natured also, haha i can bully him and he wont make any noise! haha amazing right(: and he's super sweet- tonight he just made a banana split for me to eat! ahh. for those of you who actually read thru this whole paragraph, you guys must be wondering 'hmm why did zai/deb(depends where you're from) type this whole para on her kid brother'
well i guess.. im disappointed/sad that i wont really get to see him grow up. like next year he'll be p5 and i wont be here, and p6 then sec1, sec2 and the growth spurt comes. and i wont even get to slowly notice how his height is catching up with mine.. like i'll just come out of the plane one day and see him and go 'WOAH you're taller than me now!' and when he's maturing and having all the whatever girl problems or friendship issues at most i'll only be able to be there for him on the phone or on msn or sth..
okay too far ahead already let's rewind!

in other news! my new house is almost completed! so exciting((: it's super near school so i can like blade to school everyday or sth. haha. oh but it wont be ready by our birthday like my sis and i hoped.. end of sept i think? but it's fine la (: haha tonight we were talking about getting a dog. my sis really loves animals i tell you. she chose a guinea pig over an ipod for last year's birthday! haha anyway, so we were talking about what to name our dog, and she's in her 'She's The Man' craze, so we decided on either Duke or Toby. haha in the end it's Toby cos it's nicer- try saying "here boy, here (insert dog's name here)! come here (insert name)! here (insert name)" and see which one is nicer. Toby right! hahaha okay.
