we remember
all the times we've
spent together

a ship is called a 'she' because there is always a great deal of bustle around her; there is usually a gang of men about, she has a waist and stays; it takes a lot of paint to keep her good looking; it is not the initial expense that breaks you, it is the upkeep, she can be all decked out; it takes an experienced man to handle her correctly; and without a man at the helm, she is absolutely uncontrollable. she shows her topsides, hides her bottom and when coming into port, always heads for the buoys.

haha i got that off a menu at some restaurant at a yacht club or sth. anywayy.. it's the second last day of school! so exciting! haha. we had some watermelon eating competition today and juice-drinking to raise funds. a3 came in third for the watermelon one! heh it was so fun! after the thing everyone started throwing the yucky stuff around. (:

gosh my sis has been playing the same song on the piano once every hour since she learnt that new piece yesterday. goodness. heh oh well. received our report books today.. it was pretty okay i guess but there's still alot of room for improvement.
hmm you know when people say "do your best"- how do you know what's your best? and maybe what you think is your best really isnt your best and there's still more unleashed potential or sth.. and if you think you've already done your best then you just put in that same amount of effort always you dont like.. hmm. discover what you really have.. haha okay NVM im spouting nonsense. so confusing. if anyone figures it out please tell me okay? (:

wow the year's almost over! well the school year at least. next year will be Os already! but let's not think about that for now. guess im not feeling so uhh reminisce-ish cos we'll all be remaining in our classes for next year.. things have really settled down quite a bit this year! it had it's up and downs as all years will have, but yeah.. just takes getting used to. with help from family and friends (:

i could've done a lot better in many ways, but yet i feel satisfied when i look back at some areas.. it hasn't changed much in some places and i can't expect it to, but in others, things happen so fast and things fall into place so nicely all i can do is stand in the midst of everything and grin. haha (:
