HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY ADRIEL!HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY ERROL!
haha havent been posting hence the belated. hope it was wonderful for you guys :)
another week's over! (:
haha somehow i feel like posting the school song over here now. but no i shall refrain. founder's day is next monday! missing classes! woo! ;) haha well. an.. interesting week i must say. but well it's over so yeah
today was so slack. well i was so slack. there're quite alot of things happening.. well three tests for one.. and as usual i wanted to start but couldnt.. or wouldnt.. ahh. nvm i shall study tmr. anyhoo.
mum bought me an creative zen and new headphones today!! =) oh man im soooo happy! haha my parents rock man.
haha oh then something pretty cool happened at dinner.
my whole family was out at dinner and we were just doing our usual nonsense- talking and laughing [my sis was being a funny freak as usual (:] yeah so we were laughing n choking on food, when suddenly this caucasian lady walks up to our table.
"hello! i just came over to tell you you guys have a beautiful family- my family used to be like that too, before all the kids grew up! *beams*"
my parents looked pretty surprised and my sis just gave her sheepish smile n my brother stared at her. haha i was trying to swallow my food. haha it was so cool. yeah then we got into this conversation n all (: such a nice lady!
yep so nice right? i mean she totally didnt gain anything by it.. instead she made us feel good. and it must've taken some kind of courage and guts to walk up to some unknown family and say those sweet things. it just shows what we can improve to be. like.. instead of always receiving and waiting for people to come up to you, why not go up to them? make people feel good about themselves.. that's a gracious society.
haha my sis was just saying if the lady walked up to someone in a kopitiam, the people would be like "simitaizi." hahahahahaaha. it was damn funny when she said it in her trying to be singlish accent. =)
'it's more blessed to give than to receive."
always see it on tv
or read it in the magazines
celebrities they want sympathy
all they do is piss and moan inside the rolling stone
talking about how hard life can be
i'd like to see them spend a week
livin' life out on the street
i don't think they would survive
if they could spend a day or two walking in someone else's shoes
i think they'd stumble and they'd fall
they would fall
lifestyles of the rich and the famous
they're always complaining
always complaining
if money is such a problem
well they got mansions
think we should rob them
haha im beginning to get addicted to good charlotte.. *(:
